The first day of school! New pencils free of bite marks, perfectly spiraled notebooks not yet covered in doodles , and the anticipation of something new!
I love the whole idea of first day of school pics, it’s so much fun tracking growth! And there’s a lot of first day banner printables out there. Problem is, they either cost an arm and a leg for a one use item, or they are going to take hours to fill out every. tiny. detail. about where your child is in their life!
Minimalist as always, here’s a super simple free flag printable.
Let’s get started:
1) Download and print the free flag printable. The PDF includes signs for preschool-8th grade, so be sure to specify which page you want printed in your settings!
2) Punch holes on the X’s and attach your craft stick.
3) Optional: Either keep it simple, or garnish your flag with some fun pom poms, beads, or ribbon. This part can be a fun ‘last day of Summer’ craft for your kiddos too!
And walah! Simple, fun photo prop! Best part is, it’s black ink on the printable, so you should be able to print it on any fun color card stock and color match your kiddo’s outfit!
