HUNGRY JAVELINAS
Brand identity, illustration, and conceptual packaging for a playful, desert-inspired food brand.
Hungry Javelinas began with a creative request to develop an identity for a food brand a father envisioned for his daughter. The project offered room to explore a playful visual direction inspired by the javelina and the landscapes of the Southwest.
To explore the flexibility of the identity, I imagined a range of unique flavors and SKUs, developing illustrations and packaging concepts for each. Working within a limited palette gave me an opportunity to experiment with color combinations, compositions, and illustrated elements, showing how much variety (and brand expansion) can come from a simple visual system.
The result was a playful family of products, each with its own personality while remaining distinctly part of the same brand.
